Relynx Gateway is a commercial implementation of the EULYNX standard. Relynx Gateway enables to upgrade railway interlocking to ERTMS/ETCS level 1 and 2 without renewing the whole interlocking.

Relynx is built with latest proven technologies. There is no historical legacy or technical debt. Relynx components undergo comprehensive, automated tests to validate the implementation against the EULYNX specification. The current Relynx implementation is programmed against EULYNX baseline 4.

Relynx is transparent. Users get full access to the source code. Hence, users can review, update and configure the system independently.

Relynx gives freedom for infrastructure managers. They can decide how to renew railway signalling systems to fill the ERTMS / ETCS (L1-L2) in the future.

Simple commissioning and configuration
Relynx uses standard formats YAML and TOML for simple configuration of new and existing systems. If there are changes in a track site, just change the configuration and restart the system.

Automatic validation and simulation
Relynx is automatically tested against the EULYNX specification. Each module and component, for example RaSTA and SCI-CC, are tested separately and together. The final system can be simulated before deployment.

You get access to the source code. The updated baseline releases of EULYNX are made available for keeping updated with specification changes.

Encryption, data logging, national customisations and more
With Relynx it is possible to have the highest security and safety combined with flexibility of modern software. We have a number of auxiliary functions and implementations available for national implementations, such as SCI-RBC. It enables standard way to communicate from interlocking towards RBC (radio block center).

How to proceed?

1. Project plan. Assessment of national requirements and included specifications.

2. Test plan. Tests are defined early for a clear schedule and acceptance criteria.

3. I/O configuration and mapping. Listing and mapping of included field elements. Different I/O signals and commands are matched against their counterparts in the protocol.

4. Simulation of the final end result against adjacent systems to validate correct behaviour.

5. Device setup. Necessary devices are procured and prepared for installation. You only need to start the devices in the field and check the provided tests to make sure that everything works.

6. FAT/SIT/SAT tests. The system is validated against the project plan.

7. Commissioning to operational use.
